I think there was no name. According to one source I have (Shamir) the name "Island of Peace" was not applied until after the 1997 massacre. Zerotalk03:43, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The peace treaty itself merely says Naharyim. The island itself, IIRC, is man made/affected - created by the operation/building of the power plant in the 20th century. It is also very smalk - 0.82 sq kmr.Icewhiz (talk) 04:12, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
